Sammy is the most polite, optimistic and respectful teenage boy. He has been in foster care for two years and was recently reunited with a past step-father out of the state. He is adjusting well to a new city, new school, new home and environment. Sammy is a rising senior, very active in JROTC and enrolled in a program that carries him from high school into college in the state he lives in. He is looking forward to doing four years in college and going into the military as an officer. This young man has overcome many challenges and obstacles to be successful in his placement and his future goals.
