Edward is a non-minor, dependent foster youth who has successfully navigated the challenges of having parents with substance abuse issues. He is currently working full-time as a construction worker while also balancing part-time hours at his grandmother's barbershop. Highly motivated to achieve independence, Edward has made significant sacrifices to obtain his construction certifications and license. He takes pride in being able to pay his rent, own a vehicle, and manage his own bills. His determination and hard work are evident as he transitions into this new chapter of his life.
