He is currently working full-time as a construction worker while also balancing part-time hours at his grandmother's barbershop. Highly motivated to achieve independence, Edward has made significant sacrifices to obtain his construction certifications and license. Edward has been wearing worn-out work boots for the past year at his construction job. The leather has torn off from the toe box section, and the white rubber is so damaged that it looks like Edward's socks are showing! Edward is a hard worker who is trying to save as much of his income as possible, and he is requesting help to purchase durable work boots.
