Born to a Samoan mother and a Black father, he often struggled to find a sense of belonging. His early years were filled with anger and frustration, but he later embraced his heritage through cultural events and practices. As an adult, Chris channels his experiences into advocacy and systems reform, aiming to support youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems. He believes that understanding one’s culture and history is crucial for healing and breaking cycles of trauma. Committed to making a difference, he empowers marginalized communities. His goal is to ensure future generations have the resources and opportunities for brighter futures.
