Iyonna grew up in the foster care system and faced many challenges, especially having her concerns about her guardians ignored. Living with her guardian often caused her distress. However, she found comfort in education, sports, the arts, and spending time with friends and family. Iyonna is proud of how she left the foster care system and has experienced difficult situations due to the people in charge of her care. In five years, she hopes to be happy and fulfilled, discover her passion, and forgive herself to move on to a better life.
