Despite Yvany's challenges, she is a happy, curious, and bright child, always smiling and enjoying time with her siblings. She loves activities such as painting and coloring. Yvany's mother was in foster care while Yvany spent a year in a hospital, but once her mother secured housing, they were able to reunite. Yvany is now homeschooled and has a designated area where she engages in her learning.
