Meadow, 9 years old, NJ
Meadow has been in foster care since she was born. After spending 21 days in neonatal care to detox, she lived with her aunt until she was three. Since then, she’s been back home with her mom but finds herself in foster care at least twice a year. Meadow faces some difficulties from fetal alcohol syndrome and the effects of heroin exposure, but she has a bright spirit and is generally a happy child. She loves electronics and often uses my computer, but she really hopes to have one of her own someday to dive deeper into her interests.
