Samuel is determined to build a brighter future for himself. Having spent time in several group homes throughout his childhood and adolescence, Samuel has faced many challenges and transitions while growing up in the foster care system. He recently entered the Kamalii transitional housing program, where he has already begun making positive strides toward independence and self-sufficiency. Since joining the program, Samuel has been actively working to re-enroll in college and pursue his passion for education. His long-term goal is to become a teacher so that he can inspire and support young people who may be facing challenges similar to those he experienced. Despite the obstacles and instability he has encountered, Samuel remains resilient, motivated, and focused on creating a successful future for himself. His commitment to higher education, personal growth, and giving back to his community demonstrates his determination to overcome adversity and achieve his goals.
