Nakeyshia is a resilient young mother and former foster youth who has fought tirelessly to build a better life for herself and her children. Overcoming the odds, she earned her bachelor’s degree with a dream of giving back to the child welfare system that raised her. Despite her determination and hard work, Nakeyshia is currently navigating a sudden crisis without a family safety net to lean on. Through it all, her devotion to her two young children remains her top priority, and she continues to face every obstacle with incredible grace, strength, and hope.
