Rider came into care with his two brothers and sister a few years ago after being exposed to extremely high levels of methamphetamine in the home. He'd never been to school and had often lived without power or water, with his older brother stepping up to take care of him. Despite everything, he's remained a genuinely happy kid with real hope for his future.
