Rider came into care with his two brothers and sister a few years ago after being exposed to extremely high levels of methamphetamine in the home. He'd never been to school and had often lived without power or water, with his older brother stepping up to take care of him. Despite everything, he's remained a genuinely happy kid with real hope for his future.

Rider loves anything related to the military and dreams of serving his country when he grows up. He also loves building things, like blanket forts to protect his treasures, so military themed building blocks would combine two of his favorite things perfectly. It's a gift that speaks directly to who he is and what he dreams about becoming.
