Mae Mae spent three years in foster care, where she was moved around frequently and separated from her siblings. Although that lifestyle often made her feel alone or want to run away from her problems, Mae Mae is proud of how self-reliant, resourceful, and independent she has become. Even more so, she is proud to be breaking generational cycles by consciously choosing a healthier path for her future. In the future, Mae Mae dreams of becoming a dance teacher and teaching little kids to express themselves in a healthy manner. Beyond dancing, Mae Mae loves crafting and researching travel destinations in her free time.
