Montrial is a humble and kind young man who has overcome significant challenges. After experiencing physical abuse from his stepfather, he is now living with a family member who, in his words, “gives me a safe space and comfort.” Montrial has never had a birthday party and is now learning what it means to simply be a child, to have fun, feel safe, and enjoy life without the constant worry of surviving or protecting his baby brother.
