Mica is an incredibly caring and thoughtful teenager who enjoys sports, music, drawing, and video games. He entered foster care at age 11 and has lived in seven placements over the past five and a half years. He is succeeding in his classes, working toward obtaining his driver's permit, and has started looking for a part-time job as he prepares for his future. Mica spends a lot of time outdoors playing basketball, participating in church activities, camping, and fishing. He also enjoys quieter moments at home playing video games with the other young men in his foster home. Although he enjoys interacting with his foster family and friends, he sometimes becomes overstimulated and needs time alone to calm down and relax. To help himself self-regulate, Mica enjoys watching TV, drawing, and doing other crafts.
