Jerry is an incredibly hardworking man who came to this country to pursue the American Dream. While here, he also met the love of his life, Nelly, and they shared a wonderful home for years before she suddenly passed away tragically in that same home. The memories of that day haunt Jerry, since it took the ambulance over an hour to arrive once called. Because of this, Jerry is struggling to stay in the home they shared and hopes to get a fresh start someday and carry on her memory.
