The Korean American Family Services (KFAM)-Formerly known as Korean American Family Service Center (KAFSC) is a non-profit founded in 1983 whose mission is to support and strengthens Korean American families and individuals in the greater Los Angeles area through counseling, education, and social services. KFAM specializes in culturally and linguistically sensitive services that address the needs of vulnerable and underserved Korean immigrant families, particularly in the areas of mental health, family violence, and acculturation issues. KFAM is the nation’s first and only Asian Pacific Islander (API)-focused Foster Family Agency with services available in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog and Vietnamese.
