Self care after foster care doesn't come easy. This is the first wish Kay has ever made for herself, and not solely based on her desire to protect and provide as a young mom. Her New Year's goal is to focus on healthier food options like juicing, as a full-time student and busy intern, who is studying to become a future social worker.
Kay is 23 years old and lives in OH
Kay's personality reflects one of her favorite colors: yellow. Yellow is the color of happiness, optimism, creativity and enlightenment. As a former foster youth and current college student, Kay helps mentor other youth in learning how to cook, budget and prepare to successfully navigate college.
