Malarie wishes for a new stove for her apartment. Her current stove is wearing out and unreliable. She had a repairman look at it and he reported it was not worth fixing and advised her to buy a new one. She cannot afford to purchase a new stove and has been doing the best she can with her old one. She relies on her stove to cook family meals for her little ones. This will help this single mom and her kids be a family that eats together and allow them to keep spending time together over the supper table.
Malarie is 25 years old and lives in NC
Malarie recently aged out of foster care with some college education; but was unable to finish her degree due to having a baby. She is juggling being a mom and recently going back to work. While in foster care, Malarie didn't have stability because she had to move often. She loves her two kids very much and is working hard to be the best Mom she can be!
