Carlos was recently laid off from his job in a candy shop. He quickly found an internship to participate in that provides him with a small stipend and will assist him with finding employment in the culinary field upon completion of the internship. Carlos has already received his food handlers license and will soon be finishing up the program. Unfortunately, due to his lack of income, he has not been able to keep up with all of his bills. Carlos' phone is at risk of being shut off if he does not pay the bill. He would be beyond grateful to receive assistance with ensuring his phone stays on.
Carlos is 24 years old and lives in NY
Carlos is an incredible young man who recently aged out of foster care. Up until then, he had been living in a residential treatment setting, where "residents have significant trauma histories, resulting in behavioral, emotional, and functional issues that make it impossible to live in a more typical family setting." Carlos loves baking, spending time with his senior Chihuahua/Doberman mix, playing video games and watching comedy specials. He has been diligently searching for work in his field and moved into his very first apartment which he has really made his own by adding his unique style and sense of humor to the space.
