Shawn just had eye surgery and wishes for a new pair of sunglasses to give him some protection. His eyes are very sensitive and need blocked from the sun and any thing that might fall in them. This will give him the protection he needs and help him cover the swelling and puffiness he is experiencing. This surgery has been more than he expected and is the result of long lasting effects of abuse and neglect.
Shawn is 17 years old and lives in NC
Shawn is a wonderful young man who struggles with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect. He has many special needs and requires a high level of care and attention. He likes being part of the family and likes working on fixing things. Shawn likes to eat Chick-fil-A and listen to music. Shawn loves helping people and wants to be a teacher someday.
