Having grown up in foster care, she understands the challenges of that experience and is currently taking care of her younger sister, who is also in foster care. Through it all, Tonya remains dedicated to her family and her creative pursuits, always looking for ways to uplift those around her.
Tonya dreams of visiting her sister, who lives in a foster home far away. The cost of gas and a hotel stay is a massive barrier for the two to spend time together. This wish will help pay for the essentials and hygiene supplies she needs and help her save money for visiting her sister.
