A mandolin for Christopher who wants to take lessons this summer

Foster Parent Association of WilkesChristopher spent some time in foster care, but he has now been moved to a kinship placement to provide him with a more permanent and stable environment. He is a very active boy who is constantly talking, bouncing around, and playing on the playground. Christopher loves being outside, often running around without his shoes, and he enjoys relaxing by watching cartoons. He does well in school and almost always makes the honor roll.
Christopher wishes for a mandolin for his birthday so he can learn how to play. He plans to start lessons and learn over the summer while school is out. He has always been interested in music and this will give him a great opportunity. Christopher is an honor roll student and excellent learner. He says he knows he can do this with some lessons and a little time.
