A super cool ride on jeep for Alex who loves to ride at his cousins house

Posted Jun 7, 2023
Alex really wants a battery operated jeep of his very own. When they visit his cousins house, he loves to ride his and will say he is like Lightning McQueen! All he wants to do while they are there is ride the jeep. He has so much fun on it and is always sad to have to park it to go home. Alex would be so happy if his wish for this batter powered ride on jeep were granted and he could have his very own!

Alexander is 6 years old and lives in TN

Alex is one of the sweetest and most thoughtful kids ever. He never stops for a minute but it’s in a good way. He loves building things with Legos. He loves math. And he loves for his grandmother, who he lives with, to read books to him. Alex and his two siblings as well as a cousin who lost her mom all live with his grandparents. Alex holds doors for people, has great manners, and gives the best hugs in the world. Alex’s sister is going to be leaving soon as all the kids have different dads and she is going to be moving to another state with her dad. This is going to be hard on them all but especially Alex. They are 4 years apart and play together. The thought of the siblings being separated is breaking his grandmother's heart!

Alexander receives the gift from Grandparents As Parents!

"Alex received his gift on Monday but it took Mamaw few days to get it together to surprise him. The pictures don’t even truly show how happy this kid is to have this gift. It’s raining here so he can’t ride it until we get break in weather but when he woke up I told him, “Alex Mamaw has surprise for you downstairs”. I told him that there is a place that grants wishes for kids to have a gift they really want. He said, “Mamaw, how did they know I really wanted this? Are they like Santa Claus? “ I explained how I told them about what a great boy he is and how he has wanted one for so long. This gift meant everything to him and me. I am raising three grandkids alone and at one time I was raising 4. We lost our oldest daughter in 2019 then year later my husband passed after two year battle fighting early onset dementia in Hospice. Alex is the most kind boy. He hold doors for people. He has the best manners! He is loving and kind. I can not say enough how thankful and blessed we are for this gift. Thank you for this blessing to him. I struggle just keeping the basics for them. My husband has his own business and when he got sick I tried to keep it running and care for him but eventually I had to let it go and move him back home to be near his family. We were the ones who helped people never needing help. After he died it has been a struggle but somehow thru the grace of God… we keep having enough. I look at it as that we don’t need things … we just need each other. Alex says thank you. He was so happy. Soon as weather breaks he will be out there riding his jeep. Every time he rides it we will think about you all who gave us this gift of happiness. Sincere with Gratitude, Regina Alexander "
