Kyleigh is a good student, a loving sister, and a caring friend. She goes out of her way to help take care of the little kids in the neighborhood making sure they have something to do too since they can't always play with the big kids. Kyleigh has 2 sisters and currently shares a room with one of them. Two years ago Kyleigh coded twice and had to be revived. Turns out she has a disease she will live with for the rest of her life and has to take life-saving medication. This has been very scary for her but she is working on learning that nothing can stop her and she can live a normal life with precautions.

Kyleigh and her sister have shared a room and bunkbeds for a while. They both want their own beds. Kyleigh's sister likes to aggravate her by pushing her mattress up with her feet. She would love to have a single twin bed with drawers under it for storage. She says she can hide things in the drawers that she doesn't want her sister bothering. Her grandmother said if her wish were to be granted, she can already hear her squeals of delight!
