The best part about summer is going to the lake or beach. You will find her sunning herself on the shore or splashing around in the water. She also loves playing board and electronic games with her family and friends, and has been known to get lost in a book or two. She has a competitive streak, so watch out if you play cards with her. She loves her foster home and feels lucky to be living with her sister, but she misses the rest of her birth family and wishes she could see them more often.
Emily and her sister have been through a lot in the past few years. One of their favorite things to do is go out for ice cream, and summer in Maine is the best time to enjoy the delicious treat. She would love to treat her sister to a few trips to Dairy Queen this summer so they can try a few different Blizzard flavors they haven't tried before.
