She has been placed in several different homes, and at one point, she ran away and was listed as a missing child nationwide. Currently, she is living in a girls' home and is approaching the age at which she will age out of the system. Despite her struggles, Amy excels in school and is a talented painter. She plans to attend cosmetology school after graduating from high school in the spring of 2026.
Amy needs a lot of clothing items. She has moved placements several times, and things went missing along the way. With school starting soon, she has asked for a gift card to shop at Target near the shelter where she is staying.
