An Oculus for Zahir to encourage social engagement

Strengthening Families IncZahir and his mom moved to Texas from New York. After living in a shelter for almost a year, they have finally been able to settle down in a place of their own. Zahir is a very intelligent child. His teachers say he's smarter than the kids in his class and also feel that maybe he should skip to the next grade.
Zahir has been doing extremely well in school and wants nothing more than to have an Oculus. He plays video games to help him with social engagement with his friends and family and it also helps him learn how to create gaming apps. He is currently above his grade level in school by 2 grades. However, as a single parent, it is too expensive for his mother as she has had to choose between getting him some of the things he needs versus some of the things he wants. He will be blown away if he finds an Oculus under the tree this Christmas.
