Layla and her brother were placed in four different foster homes before finally moving in with her current family. She was completely very protective of her brother. She was always in survival mode from the trauma she had experienced. Now that she is experiencing stability, she is really coming into her own. She is very athletic and very bright, making all A’s. She currently resides with her foster moms, who will be adopting her and her brother, on a small farm in the countryside. She is silly, loving, and oh-so-sassy. She has been a blessing and a light in the lives of everyone who meets her and her family loves watching her grow and play volleyball and basketball.

Layla has always excelled in school and has recently been inducted into the National Honors Society by the age of 10. She has been one of the top students in her class regardless of anything she’s been through. She is on multiple sports teams and due to her rigorous schedule, she is in need of a laptop which would allow her to complete her coursework wherever she goes.
