She has faced many challenges in her life, including a lack of stability in her housing situation and ongoing health issues. As a result, her academic progress has been hindered since a very young age. Despite these obstacles, Amanda maintains a positive outlook and remains hopeful for a brighter future. Amanda has a significant history with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P) and has experienced multiple out-of-home placements. Recently, she and her two sisters were reunited after the loss of their mother last year.
With the holiday season just around the corner, Amanda is really hoping to get an iPad Mini as a gift! She thinks that it would allow her to communicate, learn, and express herself in a much more effective way. Plus, it would be perfect for Amanda to stay connected with her loved ones and connect to all sorts of valuable resources!
