NE DHHS - Platte County

Jess is a bright young boy who is more reserved until you get to know him. Jess is the oldest of five siblings. He is currently placed in a foster home with his younger brothers and sisters where he has thrived under the structure and routine. Jess has started learning to read, and he has been so excited to be able to read signs on the way to school; his school has said he has made so many improvements this school year. Jess enjoys being given responsibility and gets excited to wake up early to help take care of the farm animals. Jess also has a love for art, and you will always find him coloring something. Jess is learning to like new foods and has been very brave in trying new things to help improve his heart condition. Jess is a curious boy who has many questions and much excitement as he is experiencing the world.

Jess and his siblings have a newfound love for playing outside. Jess said his number one Christmas wish was to get a new scooter so that he can ride it with his brothers and get some good exercise!
