She is still trying to figure out her future and what she wants to do with her life, but is leaning towards a trade involving working with her hands. She is an older youth still in foster care and receiving support services through the Department of Social Services-Children's Division, but also starting services with the Department of Mental Health for autism.
Alexis is asking for a DNA test so she can explore finding more family members as she feels a loss of identity with the lack of family she is aware of. This wish will help her explore not just herself, but the world around her with a new outlook. She will be so excited to unwrap this amazing gift!
