Ya’Kiara is fun loving and energetic. She has been through many traumatic events that will forever change her life. She was placed to live with her aunt and has been with her ever since. Ya’Kiara is still learning to express how she feels but the one thing she works so hard at is growing and maintaining her education.

Yakiara enjoys using other people's electronic devices to engage in games and music videos. A tablet would allow her to search additional educational resources along with fun. Yakiara is a very smart young lady and gets very upset when school is out. She would like to stay at school longer to use their tablet however she has to ride the bus home, so she is unable. She would love to have a tablet of her own to watch videos to sing and dance along to her favorite songs. Granting this wish would mean a lot to her this Christmas.
