During her childhood, she faced many challenges within her family of origin, which ultimately led to her placement in the foster care system. Despite these difficult experiences, Shauntay has shown remarkable resilience and strength as she has aged out of the system.
Shauntay currently lives in publi.c housing. Her apartment is constantly plagued by leaks and mold. The leaks have ruined her bed and she does not have a place to sleep. Granting this wish would help Shauntay immensely, alleviating the stress of sleeping on the floor.
