Summer wishes for a set of wooden chess pieces to go with her board. This will allow her to keep playing chess. She enjoys this game but lost most of her pieces and this will keep her playing and interacting with friends and family.
Summer is 17 years old and lives in NC
Summer loves to smile and be around her sisters. She is medically fragile and has lots of special needs, and it takes a very special family to care for her. Unfortunately, she has had many surgeries and medical needs due to the trauma and abuse she previously suffered. Summer has come so far since entering foster care, but still requires a constant high level of care and support.
