During her childhood, she faced many challenges within her family of origin, which ultimately led to her placement in the foster care system. Despite these difficult experiences, Shauntay has shown remarkable resilience and strength as she has aged out of the system.
Shauntay's stove recently caught on fire and her housing unit has said they have no timeline for supplying her with a replacement. Right now she is unable to feed her children without a working stove. This rice cooker will help her cook at home without having to worry about standing over the stove, as she juggles single parenting with three young children.
