Alexis is a very attentive single mom with two very energetic children. Since acquiring her first apartment, she has been slowly adding the essentials needed to make it a home. This winter, Alexis realized cold was entering her home through the old hardwood floors in the living room, which was the biggest room in the house. Additionally, the living room also serves as the kids' play area. Alexis is requesting a stain resistant area rug that is big enough for the space. It will help keep the cold of their feet and little bodies and is washable above all! She is excited to be able to wash this rug to help her clean up faster and keep a sanitary play area for the two little ones.
Alexis is 22 years old and lives in NM
Alexis came into the foster care system at a very young age due to the domestic violence in her home. Although severely impacted by this, now that she is older and a mom of two, she is doing everything she can to support her children and prevent them from entering the system.
