Summer wishes for a beautiful butterfly suncatcher to help her look forward to spring. She wants to hang it in her bedroom window as a reminder that warmer days are coming soon. Since she's mostly stuck inside during winter, she needs something to bring her a little joy. She loves butterflies and this suncatcher will make her so happy!
Summer is 17 years old and lives in NC
Summer loves to smile and be around her sisters. She is medically fragile and has lots of special needs, and it takes a very special family to care for her. Unfortunately, she has had many surgeries and medical needs due to the trauma and abuse she previously suffered. Summer has come so far since entering foster care, but still requires a constant high level of care and support.
