MO DSS Children's Division - Stoddard CountyMaria is doing well in school and is finishing up her senior year. She is working part time for her local school district. She is choosing to remain in foster care until she ages out at 21. Maria wants to pursue a degree in criminal justice and a job in law enforcement. She is currently expecting a baby girl in April with her boyfriend. Maria is a super sweet girl who excels at everything she puts her mind to.
Maria is a star student and is looking forward to attending a BETA convention this month. She will be required to pay for additional things, including her food and extracurricular activities, while at the convention, and she is asking for some help covering these costs. Maria wishes for some help so that she fits in with her peers and can enjoy herself. Her foster parents have several other children in the home and are currently strained financially. Granting this wish will allow Maria to be able to attend with her classmates.
