Miriam would love to have a swing that she can swing outside and feel the sun on her face. This swing is her wish, so she can swing and swing, and it will calm her mind and ease her anxiety while giving her smiles and adapting to different sensory sensations. She will be so happy outside while swinging and soaking up the sun!
Miriam is 8 years old and lives in MO
Miriam is a sweet and friendly girl who loves to smile and laugh from her wheelchair. That is exactly what she does for others, too, to make them smile. She loves smaller things to hold in her hands, and a friend has started a small collection of Mini Brands. She loves to hold them in her lap or on her wheelchair tray. She also loves to be held and cuddled. Since being in therapy, she has gained more control of the grasp in her hands and has been using them to hold items such as her Mini brands. She is making slow but great strides in her physical and occupational therapy. She is a strong little girl and has overcome many challenges that life has brought her.
