Demetrius is a great swimmer and will be working as an assistant lifeguard this summer. He was super excited when he got the news about his summer job. Demetrius has brought up all his grades this semester and will not have to attend summer school. He will graduate next year and he has plans on joining the military. Demetrius needs two new pair of slides for his summer job. He used his savings to purchase the first pair and asked for some help purchasing the second pair. Purchasing the slides for Demetrius will help him financially and remind him he has a network of adults who care.

Demetrius is an amazing young man who is currently placed in foster care without his two younger brothers. Foster care has been tough for Demetrius because he worries about his two younger brothers, and he hopes to be reunited with his brothers one day. Demetrius loves to play sports and is a great football and basketball player. Demetrius dreams of playing in the NFL one day. He likes school and his favorite subject is math. Demetrius says he will open his own sneaker business if he does not make it to the NFL.
