Myriah experienced the foster care system until she reached 23 years old, where shortly after she aged out, she experienced homelessness. These experiences have driven her to advocate for her community, She currently serves on the board of the LA County Youth Commission and runs her own catering service called Smiley Pops, where she sells handmade cake pops. She hopes to be able to use her voice to be able to empower other youth.

Myriah is excited to be back for her second-ever tabling at the Foster Youth Flea Market. She sold out at the October market and is in need of support to purchase more materials such as cake mix, melting chocolate, and decorations for her cake pops.
