Shante is a bright young lady who has spent most of her life in the foster care system. Despite this, she says that it has only made her more determined to succeed in life. She is passionate about art, especially painting and drawing, and one of her favorite hobbies is doing her nails. Her current goal is to attend nursing school. Shante was recently accepted into an independent living program and was moved to a different and unfamiliar area. Although she felt some anxiety and sadness about being further away from her friends, she has embraced the opportunity and chosen to focus on the positive aspects of her new environment.

Shante just got accepted into an independent living program and moved into her apartment for the first time. One of Shante's favorite hobbies, which she says is also very therapeutic for her, is drawing and painting. Because she is mainly self-taught and desires to get better and better, she loves to find YouTube tutorials that she can follow and create along with. Having a new TV that she can use to access this YouTube content would be great for Shante.
