Lynette is an incredible young woman in our CareerX mentorship program. She has been working hard at breaking into her dream career over the last few months, as she would love to become a detective one day. She also is interested in law and public policy at some point in her career. Lynette did a fantastic job working full-time while balancing her coursework at West LA College throughout this year. Despite many challenges while growing up in foster care, Lynette has battled incredibly hard to get where she is today.

Lynette has been working to transition into working full-time as a security guard and has recently secured a new job that will be beginning soon. In this transition period, she fell a little behind on her rent payment for July and could not pay the total amount. As she is moving on to a new, higher-paying job, she needs to be able to pay off this month to avoid eviction and scramble to find a new place in a concise amount of time. Assistance with the final couple hundred dollars of the payment would be an unbelievable lifesaver for Lynette in such a challenging time.
