Veronica is a talented musician and singer. She plays guitar and plans to join the youth choir at the church near her foster home. She misses her family in Ecuador but hopes to see them again. She is in her third placement while in foster care but manages to keep a positive attitude. She is inspiring! She keeps straight A's in school and also manages to keep in touch with her best friend despite being placed in different foster homes. She is a loyal friend and a delightful teen.

Veronica lost some of her possessions in the last move from her foster home to the youth shelter. One of her prized possessions was her mp3 player. To avoid issues with some shelter residents, Veronica wants to be able to enjoy music before turning in for the night.
