Guardian ad litem PAAlayna is a bright strong child who is living with her siblings at her great-aunt's house. She has been there since being removed from her neglectful parents. Alayna is learning to be a kid without letting go of her desire to protect her siblings. With the support of her great aunt and that family Alayna has been able to overcome the negative start that her parents' drug use had on her schooling, and is using therapy to process her parents not visiting the siblings. Alayna loves dancing, softball, and her new group of friends.
Alayna is starting her first year of middle school, and she has requested a pencil sharpener to help her keep her pencil point sharp. She can get anxious and has received occupational therapy at school. Having a pencil sharpener will help alleviate her fears.
