Alana is a strong, motivated young woman who continues to work toward her goals despite experiencing difficult circumstances growing up. After spending time in the foster care system and navigating loss at a very young age, she has developed a powerful determination to build a better future. Alana is committed to her education, focused on building her self-confidence, and enjoys listening to music and expressing her creativity. Those who know Alana see her incredible strength, resilience, and potential to accomplish great things as she works toward independent success.

Alana was hoping that her dad would get her the shoes that she had been asking for. Unfortunately, he didn't bring her anything for school. She will start school tomorrow in sandals, as that is all she has. Alana hopes to be able to try out for sports this year. Granting this wish will allow her to have a pair of tennis shoes to wear to school and hopefully wear during her tryouts.
