Grace Retreat Foster Care and Adoption ServicesKaya is an adorable and smiley girl who was recently placed in an unlicensed kinship home with her maternal aunt. Since she was removed from her parents, Kaya has been fearful of strangers and is struggling to warm up to her aunt.
Kaya needs a space to sleep where she can feel safe and secure. Her aunt relocated to Arizona so she could care for Kaya but she doesn't have a bed specifically for Kaya. Kaya has been using a pack-n-play, but it is against the DCS safe sleep guidelines, and her aunt isn't in a financial position to buy Kaya the crib she requires. Kaya has been fearful of strangers since being removed from her parents, so she needs a small crib that her aunt can put in her bedroom so Kaya feels safe being with someone she recognizes.
