Kya is a bright ball of energy who never stops going. She will brighten your day regardless of what is going on in her life. Kya loves to interact with peers and makes friends through shared interests in music and video games. Kya is growing up to be an intelligent and responsible young lady and is excelling in all areas of her life while in foster care.

Kya recently started reading the graphic novel series Hooky, and she loves it. Kya has been finding that reading graphic novels is a great coping skill for her and allows her to explore new worlds and go on different adventures. What else does Kya use as a coping skill? Drawing! Kya is quite an artist and is going to a special art school, so it's no surprise that she'll love this book that will teach her how to draw all of the characters from Hooky. She is sure to stay busy during her winter break, learning and practicing how to draw all of her favorite characters from the book series!
