She was forced to leave school in the third grade, but she is eager to gain more knowledge with the goal of becoming a nurse. As a survivor of domestic violence and child abuse, she hopes to one day advocate for other young people who have experienced similar challenges.
Luciana spends a lot of time in the room she is renting. She tries to keep herself busy with chores and her GED studies but sometimes longs for a different form of entertainment. She imagines having a device that would allow her to complete chores and study while listening to her favorite podcasts and music in her room.
