Sierra became a foster youth at age 15 when her mom passed away unexpectedly. She has since been navigating life as an independent young adult, with little to no support to help her navigate the transition to adulthood. Sierra is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and dreams of working with kids.

Sierra has spent the past two Christmases alone and hasn’t received a Christmas gift in three years. Each year, she uses most of her limited budget to buy gifts for her siblings and cousins, leaving herself with no money for something nice. This year, she particularly wishes to revive a special tradition: every Christmas, her mom used to buy her a pair of Uggs, and Sierra dreams of reigniting that cherished custom.
